Edited the other post, but iHeartRadio is live streaming the concert tonight if you want to check it out to see if Taylor shows up. I got work, ugh.. It better be put up online afterwards if she does.

Wait. Ottawa Hoedown is at Aug 11 right? And it's a new festival too? Launching a new song at small festival like that wouldn't create a big splash. Is she really gonna pull that alternative route I've been wishing for?

ANYWAY, on another forum there is a rumor going around saying Taylor will be performing BoU with him tonight in NYC. Does he have a show tonight? Because I'm looking at his site and it says he's in DC tonight for promotion. The MET GALA is next week so I can see Taylor heading out to NYC, but I don't know where people are getting that BoB has a concert there tonight.

i dont know eithers its just rumors b.o.b is promoting "strange clouds" right now, so i dont see that happening but i heard hes performing at the bbmas so he might bring taylor out, that would be awesome if he did. and yeah they are alike i think they'd be a nice couple but ppl would probally make fun of her and im not here for that, but they do have a lot in common, and b.o.b isnt ugly, like some of her others.

Actually it seems third year. Its location is Walter Baker Park and over 40000 attendance is expected. This year's line up includes Taylor Swift, Reba, Ronnie Dunn, Sherly Crow, The Band Perry, Brad Paisley etc.

First Blake, then Keith, now Brad, Jason and Jennifer.

'Opening Act' Show Will Give Aspiring Singers Chance to Open for Brad Paisley, Jason Aldean
Blake Shelton and Keith Urban both have their names attached to reality TV talent shows, and now it looks like Brad Paisley and Jason Aldean are jumping on the same bandwagon. The two multi-platinum-selling singers will be part of a new TV show that finds unsigned musical talent via the internet.
The show, called "Opening Act," will be produced by "American Idol" producer Nigel Lythgoe, who will scour the web looking for great singers, with help from Mary J. Blige and "Rock Mafia" producer Antonina Armato. The winners of the contest will score a chance to serve as an opening act for established artists, with Jason and Brad listed as two of the singers who will open up their stage to unsigned contestants. Other artists who will also share their concert platform include Rod Stewart, Nicki Minaj, Gym Class Heroes, Jason Mraz and LMFAO.
"There is an extraordinary amount of untapped talent out there," Nigel explains (quote via NY Daily News). "But if you don't know the right people or have the right connections, you may never be discovered. With 'Opening Act,' we are democratizing a notoriously impossible process."
The veteran TV producer adds that the winners will have adequate training before they perform before thousands of fans. "These kids that have never done anything in their lives, never actually performed in front of anybody, have got five days to get themselves ready," he tells E! News. "We've got an artist development team that will help them, but it's going to be very exciting."
In addition to Jason and Brad, Sugarland's Jennifer Nettles will also be participating in a reality TV talent show this summer. The songstress will appear alongside John Legend, Robin Thicke and Kelly Clarkson on ABC's new show, "Duets," which will premiere on May 24 on ABC.
"Opening Act" will debut on July 9 at 10:00 PM ET on E!.

Yeah, but it's just entered the third year. Still kinda risky tbh. Sure it could be big for Country music, but in general, it's nothing compared to Stagecoach, Coachella, Bonnaroo, or N.O. Jazz Fest.

I actually despise these singing competitions. Aside from the fact that it's cheating the system, they rarely produce singers that are worth all the trouble. For all the seasons there have been of American Idol, Voice, X Factor, Nashville Star all around the world, there are only about 10 people whose music I enjoy.
