Okay. Slow the **** down

1. Eventhough she's not with Disney, she's still riding the success Disney gave her. She is still not on her own league. Leave the good girl image behind and then I can say she's totally Disney free.

2. Her music (lyrically) matured but she didn't experiment at all. She needs to step out of the box, like what Miley did with Can't Be Tamed. I didn't like it but she's really staying away from the others. She was ahead of her co-disney mates then.

3. I stand by what I said that she is inexperienced. She hasn't experienced enough to be a judge

But that's just my opinion

They didn't sign her the first season because they thought Demi didn't have the experience yet, Simon could have a good reason on why she's getting a seat on the second season.

honestly would it be so bad? she could very well surprise us all. Personally i can't wait for this to skyrocket her career

Yeah, but we'll see. We might be even surprised on her performance. I just hope she doesn't let herself get shaded by LA, Simon and Britney. Like the shade on Nicole from Simon, Paula and LA.

Oh we all agree with that, it's just I think she should be given the chance before being criticised

good girl image? do you even follow what she's doing or...? if you did you might know she's not really acting like a good girl anymore.
And also, imo she did experiment? Don't Forget -> Rock, HWGA -> Pop/Rock, Acoustic ; Unbroken -> electropop, pop, r&b

and Skyscraper is definitely NOT a Disney-ish single.
but i do get your point about her being inexperienced. But she will also gain experience with that job.

She's a nice girl and I think she's pretty talented. However, I don't think she has enough experience to be judging or giving advice. A lot of these contestants on The Voice, American Idol, X Factor, etc. have been performing on stage quite a bit and have experience with it. They need people who have been in the industry long to give them advice about song choices, style, stage presence,etc. I'll reserve judgement until I actually see her but I think there likely couldve been better candidates out there.

Lets see what she can bring on that stage

It's a dumb idea. She's so effortlessly boring that I don't know what Simon is thinking putting her on his tv show.
