I don't think people even know what falls under R&B anymore. smh Some of the choices are ridiculous like Fly Like A Bird & Makes Me Wanna Pray which are clearly GOSPEL songs. Chris Brown, Ciara and Cassie are more pop then R&B. I still don't know whether to classify Danity Kane as pop or R&B. Mariah Carey shouldn't even be mentioned cuz her album came out in April and in November of 2005. And the following songs are clearly POP not R&B: Christina Aguilera "On Our Way", "Without You" & "Still Dirrty". Also Be Without You is from 2005. Irreplaceable is pop too.
Everything looks good guys.

Actually the quality state of R&B was good this year, just wasn't in quantity. The 70's and 90's is where R&B was at its best... when commerialized R&B and real R&B are able to co-exist with balance. Whenever one is more played then the other then R&B suffers. 60's it was too much real R&B, 80's and 2000's too much commercialized R&B. We are just goin through a phase that will hopefully bring us back to a balance between the 2.
