It sounds ahead of its time if you haven't heard of Gigi D'Agostino, ATB, Alice Deejay, Fragma, Darude, Kosmonova, Presiozo, Floorfilla, Darude and all these bands from the late 90s early 00s's second wave of eurodance !

A great song nonetheless, and surprisingly touching.

I loved that song. Wouldn't say it was ahead of its time, though. Just because the dance/electro-pop sound didn't completely takeover the pop scene until the late 00s doesn't mean there wasn't any well-known pop songs with that sound before that era.

Hmm no. It sounds like the era it came from IMO. Still love it though.

I like the slow version better. But it wasn't ahead of it's time. There was a dance pop explosion during the time too. It's always recurring.
