To Kill a Mocking Bird is good and so ****ing simple too read. Books that I hated were Ethan Frome and Idylls of the King.

The regular English kids at my school read the Hunger Games for class.
But seriously, it's a simple book, and not much to it beneath the what's written. I don't think it should be.

This year is my last year in high school. At first I was so happy that I won't see these people ever again but then I realised that it's also the last year I'll be with my friends.

I did the Hunger Games for my Grade.11 English, I did well on those assignments because I actually enjoyed the book.

We read that book last year, I had to write an essay on the themes. I got a B-
It was actually a pretty good essay though, my teacher was just the hardest grader of writing ever
|
I'm not worried about marks because I did a slideshow on discrimination in the book and got a 95% on it.

I loved French and then they cut French II and III at my school.
|
My World Studies teacher made us practice DBQs in class for preparation for the US History AP exam. And I'll try to do all the work.

TKAMB is a CLASSIC novel with beautiful symbolism and quite an interesting storyline and you're a flop for saying that.

And the Hunger Games may be simple in writing style, but the ideas underneath it leaves a lot of room for analyzing the politics of the world, human nature and ****.

You should've just asked to be taken out of it. That's what I did.

I just finished studying for my English 2 (H) End of Course.
I'll be taking it tomorrow and then Algebra 2 Friday.
I have barely touched my review guides for this week for the Algebra test..

Band, Beta Club, FBLA, Stu Co, and the Art Club.
I wish I could've done yearbook this year. My designing skills could've been put to a good use.

I despised Ethan Frome. God I didn't read any of it. I haven't read most of the books assigned to me this year. I didn't read The Scarlet Letter at all, the parts I read were good though. I'll read it when I have time. I am reading The Great Gatsby right now though, I'm enjoying it.

My creep English teacher basically ruined that book for me. He talked about that line when Holden was with Antolini.

My only friends were in the Gifted program, I would have suffered even more from social issues if I had been taken out of it.
Looking back, I'm glad I did it because it helped me immensely to prepare for college; but on the other hand, it was four years of pure hell. The curriculum wasn't even that hard (save for science), but we went so quickly with everything. Like I distinctly remember that the non-Gifted kids were given 2 ~40 page packets for History a month (each packet also came with something like 10 analysis questions), while us Gifted kids had 2 a week, 8 a month.
