iIs she? She sees darker than a lot of the other black celebrities to me. I guess only a shad or 2...it's not like it's important, I just thought it was noteworthy

^ She's lighter. To me she along with CB, Rih, Bey all look mixed race. I'm west indian and there are few blacks with that tone. Those who do are generally mixed race (see Leona as an example or Leigh anne from little mix, or Alesha Dixon). It depends on your idea of beauty and your society/family idea. A lot of US folk are very anti-black, whereas it's the opposite for blacks in the UK. People are very proud of who they are here, there's less image obsessive-ness. Although we have an issue with representation in goods i.e Make up (there isn't much for darker skinned people, the only one is Beyoncé's range, it's that bad).

She's probably darker than most other black celebrities, but in the black community, they wouldn't call her a dark-skinned woman. They would consider her light.
