I was wondering, are there any people who don't like music in general? I vaguely recall a conversation I had with a person who said he knew a person who just avoided all music altogether. I really can't imagine anyone voluntarily abstaining from life's greatest source of entertainment (unless you have a hearing disability). So I'm interested to know if you know of anyone who lives life without music.

Yes. An Asian kid that goes by the name "Chris." His only interests are playing video games and doing better than everyone does in school. I don't understand how one can live life without the joy of music. But anyway, he's a total freak and has absolutely no personality so it's understandable.

I know people who never listen, or avoided listening to music because they found their entertainment or enjoyment in listening to the holy Quraan ,and it seems quite possible to me if music is not on the top of your priorities. Like the example that just Brian gave.

Music is just becoming a part of our lives ,that's why it sounds like an unbelieveable idea, but everything is possible.

I find it weird when people dont' listen to music. It's not human. Music is part of our soul. When people don't listen to music I say they are aliens taking over the world. It's not human at all. And I live with one, aghh!!!!! His name is Gary. He barely listens to music. Like maybe once a week or less. It's just frickin' scary. I ignore him because of that one reason and instead he spends his lifetime in front of the TV. Not listening to music is just plain weird and not humane.

hah i remember i didnt really listen to music at all until i was about 12-ish, then i just became addicted.
as for people i know, i know this one guy, pat, he's a really good friend and he's really nice, but he doesnt listen to music at all. His parents are really strict though, so I think thats part of the problem as they dont allow him to buy like a CD player or anything like that.

They dont have any enough time to just entertained theirselves with music or something.

Btw, I'm not trying to diss those kinda people, but you can learn a lot from music!

Yeah, one of my friends generally doesn't listen to music. I think she has a cassette player, though. lol

Yeah I know a kid who doesnt listen to music at all. I dont understand how people survive who do that. And what got me really mad is that my school was giving a way free iPods and he won one, and he doesnt even like music!

The closest dude I know is my best friend who listens to crappy music and doesn't like any music I listen too.

Yes, I have a friend in Spain and he says that don't like the music, just the movie soundtracks like Harry Potter and no more. The music is boring for him. I think his life is empty without the music.

I don't know what kind of a life would be without music? It's just not right. You do learn a lot from music. Like heartbreak, and love. Stuff like that.
