No close calls or ties or lists, you have to pick one! Also explain why you like it so much.
Mine is Nessuno è Solo by Tiziano Ferro, all the songs on it are amazing and it was just a breath of fresh air not to have to turn to jpop for a change to find great music.
Easy, easy, easy. Muse's "Black Holes And Revelations". No song is immediately bad to me. There are some weaker tracks("Hoodoo", to name one), but it also has the best song of the year, as well as quite a few songs that rank among my favorites this year.
Just to mention it, as of right now, TV On The Radio's "Return To Cookie Mountain" is the album behind BHAR. Fantastic and unique.
The Open Door- Evanescence
And i like it because its just an amazing album. Amy Lee and the guys always does something to impress me a lot. Best album of 2006 for sure! <3
I know, typical right but i'm honestly really suprised at how good her album is! I did not expect it be this good coming into it, i've always just loved her for her personality but I love like every single track on this cd, its perfect!
At the current time: The Open Door, because it's dark, cool yet exquisite-sounding, and very qualified to be labeled as "art." I've been excited and raving for this LP ever since I heard the beginning 20 seconds of CMWYS this last summer for the first time. (Then I was later floored by the music video.)
It's a mixture of mind-boggling songs from the bizarre Lose Control, to the creepiness of Snow White Queen then to the mournful Like You and the blissful Good Enough. It touches a wide range of emotions not just pain, sorrow and death.
