Although the internet has already speculated what this would sound like, it looks like Bruno Mars and producer Mark Ronson—who is best known for his work on
Amy Winehouse’s sophomore album, Back to Black—are now collaborating in the studio, according to Ronson’s publicist.
While not much about the collaboration has been revealed, the news comes after Ronson’s recent production on Rufus Wainwright’s latest album, Out of the Game, which also features Ronson’s go-to studio band, The Dap Kings. Mars tweeted on April 10 that he was in the recording studio working on his second album, but it isn’t clear whether these sessions were with Ronson. Mars also performed a tribute to Winehouse last year at the MTV VMAs
I hope this collaboration is real and for bruno's second album, it's going to slay I can feel it and transfer bruno into a whole different level, this guy has produced amy's rehab and won Grammy Award 2008 Producer of the Year for Record of the Year (with Amy Winehouse) and Best Pop Vocal Album (also with Winehouse)
