In all seriousness though, I can't say I necessarily feel overwhelmingly bad for the person. They got what was coming for them and it was clear it was going to happen. The driver clearly had no interests being there and was being ganged up on. Also, it's just stupid to be in such a scenario.

No duh someone's going to get hurt.
The person filming had it right. They needed to stay away. It's just foolish to act so ridiculously. Not saying the driver was right, cause surely he wasn't, especially leaving the scene. But think in his perspective. The people were attacking him
in the car, ruining his taxi and trying to mess with him. After running someone over, they'd very well might end up severely injuring him or even worse if he stayed.
In a case where the people were warned to get away from the driver when he wasn't interesting in confrontation and the driver was attempting to leave, I can't help but side the driver in this situation. The people attacking him were being idiots and it'd be practically impossible for that situation to honestly end up positively.
