csybeyking is right, Alicia's nothing special in comparison to other pianists. There are thousands amazing, extremely skilled pianists out there, average piano playing means nothing.
If thats the case then the same thing could be said about Beys dancing and singing. So all arguments can be made to go which ever way you want it to.

Bey is one of the best vocalists of our generation, far above average. Don't compare her singing to Alicia's piano playing; because both Bey and Alicia are PRIMARILY singers. Alicia is also a songwriter too, though.
The point that I'm making is even though Alicia is a better pianist, its only because Bey doesn't play the piano. She could easily take a series of lessons and be as basic of a pianist as Alicia, Beyonce is an extremely quick learner, the fact that she can learn choreography in less than an hour shows that.
Alicia's level of piano playing is easily attainable. Which is why its not really a big deal in determining her level of talent.

Bey is good for todays mainstream artist but not for professionals who sing. There are many people who sing really well who dont have her platform. Im not saying shes not a good singer because she is. It just seems as if her stans want to put her up there on a Whitney level and she isnt up there. But YES she is a good singer.

Bey's vocals are easily attainable for Alicia, why?? Because her own voice has gotten worse and worse and she's not even old. Besides, Beyonce is one of the superior vocalists of this generation and will probably have a great voice into old age unlike Mariah & Whitney. And dancing and singing simultaneously you can forget about it.
I've actually already made points why Beyoncé is a better musician in my earlier post. Also Cakingbey is right. Alicia's piano playing is nothing to run home about.
I wouldn't be surprised if Beyonce already knew how to play piano since most vocalist do know how to to some extent.

Wait. Ch...
These shoulda woulda couldas. Like Alicia could 'easily take a series of lessons' and be as 'basic' of a dancer as Beyonce is? What type of reaching?

Part of Mariahs and Whitneys reason for losing their voice into old age is over working it.
Also Bey NEVER sings and dances simultaneously. Bey sings, then puts the mike down and dances while her backup sings, then starts singing again. The few times she tried to do it simultaneously she sings with a prerecorded track or lipsyncs.
Compared to other pianists, yes Alicia is not the best, but she's very good at what she does. Some of the songs and melodies she creates on the piano are VERY hard to play. (I've tried ). She knows her stuff well.

And Alicia is an average pianist. I'm glad we agree.
Girl... not the finger snaps, booty pops and Naomi Campbell walks!! What kind of intricate choreography?
Lol!!!!! I mean seriously. Outside of her dancing in heels her choreo is basic. Dancing in heels is the only thing thats so "spectular" about her dancing anyway.

Get Me Bodied, Single Ladies, Crazy In Love, End Of Time and others prove otherwise.
Alicia might not be the best piano player but it's not EASY in any way to do . I watched her whole concert online when she re-released Songs in A Minor and I was amazed. All she needed was her and her piano.
