Haven't really read through much of the posts here, so forgive me if I'm repeating.
Taking a woman out on a date since that's all I'm familiar with.
Do's: Open doors. Pull out chairs. Pay for everything. Make a few compliments here and there, but make them interesting. Things she hasn't heard before. Maintain eye contact always when she's talking. Listen to her and let her control the conversation, 60/40. Make her laugh. If you can make a woman laugh, you can make her do anything.
Don't: Talk about yourself too much. Talk about your ex. Chew with your mouth open. Agree with everything she says, actually showcase some opposing opinions here and there. Have sex, or make out. The most you should do on a first date is a closed mouth kiss.
