If I'm not mistaken, Beyonce's current single is Ring The Alarm, and her next single is Irreplaceable. So WHY the heck is Upgrade U the most played song on hip-hop radio here in New York (that being Power105 and Hot97)??? I must have heard it at least 3 times today in the car. Are they allowed to do that?

That sound is so brilliant. She will release it after IRREPLACABLE if she knows whats good for her :-)

Upgrade U, upgrades the cd to perfection. Best song on the album, def. a club jam and even best for the car!

Excellent uptempo, despite its not so "independent" lyrics. The same goes for the senseless "Get Me Bodied" and the banging "Green Light." All three are the best uptempos on the album. I'd like to see how "Irreplaceable" pans out though. It definitely deserves to be a success but I don't know how Urban radio will receive it.

If they were smart, this is how the U.S singles would go for the rest of the album:
3rd single (sent around late October/November):
- Upgrade U (Urban/Rhythmic)

and

LISTEN (Pop/AC)

Listen is going to be released anyway, for Oscar consideration. Since it's tacked onto the end of the album, why not take full advantage of it? Let Upgrade U bring the fire for everyone else
And then, around Feb/March - IRREPLACEABLE with (preferably) a new video, to ALL radio formats. It will be her biggest hit if it's released in the spring.

At this pace, Beyonce will be finished with B'day before the end of the year.
