Horrible choice as the 2nd single. Lies is a much better choice, since it's not that far from the sound of Primadonna and it will have more success than Starring Role. She should just release this as the 3rd single.
Also, isn't it too early for this to have a thread? Primadonna has only been out for two weeks.
This probably isn't true but something makes me think she chose Starring Role before Lies to stagger the Dr. Luke tracks and thus lessen the impression that she "sold out". If I didn't listen to the whole album and just heard Primadonna and then Lies, the production would certainly surprise me and I would think she'd changed a lot.
