"Maneater" is doing well, but only with digital downloads. It's not exactly a hit at radio. It's bullet is struggling on it's strongest format, Pop. I do love "Maneater" but I was always a bit skeptical about it's release in the states.
When we all initially heard "Promiscuous" & "Maneater" earlier this year, I was positive
"Promiscuous" was going to be a hit but I wasn't so sure about "Maneater." Everyone else felt the opposite so I just went along and assumed "Maneater" can be a hit as well. "Promiscuous" was then appointed as her first U.S. single and everyone seemed to worry but of course, in the end, there was no need for the worrying ("Maneater" did however perform well internationally). So to sum it all up, I'M NOT SURPRISED. AT ALL!
I recommend that she does not release "(All Good Things) Come To An End." Instead; "Say It Right", "Do It", & "Wait For You" should all be considered. There is nothing wrong with (AGT)CTAE, aside from the fact that it is not an appropriate single choice following what could possibly be a "flop."
I've only heard Maneater played once on the radio, but considering its low airplay, I'm amazed it is currently #8 on iTunes! I really do hope the airplay picks up soon though... I want another Top 10 hit off of Loose.
