A Dawson's Creek reunion feels like it's getting closer by the day—so much so we can practically smell the sea breeze coming off the shores of Capeside.
Michelle Williams told the Vulture blog this week that she's still "totally up" for the old gang getting back together.
But as die-hard fans know, that could prove to be a bit of a problem for Ms. Williams…
"You can't do it because Michelle/Jen is dead," Joshua Jackson, aka Pacey, exclusively told me at the GLAAD Media Awards. "What's the show without all of the main characters?"
Perhaps a dream scenario à la Bobby Ewing in Dallas? "I'm OK with that," Jackson laughed. "We can start with Dawson in a shower. That would be funny."
Williams' latest comments came about when she was reminded of James Van Der Beek's interest in a reunion. "He has my email! He has my home phone and my cell phone, so we talk," she told Vulture, adding, "[James] could totally ask! I've always said, I'm totally up for reunion tours, reunion shows, so we can do that."
Katie Holmes is also on board. "It would be fun," Holmes said during an appearance on Good Morning America in the fall. "I had so much fun working on that show and I loved everyone so much and I think about it with such fond memories."
And yes, Williams has thought about ways of getting around Jen's untimely death.
"In a heartbeat I would go back," Williams said in November on Ryan Seacrest's radio show. "I would have to come back as a ghost, though, because poor Jen Lindley died."

This made me look up her age since the show is so old and im seeing she's 31!!!!?? She looks no older than 23-24 Idk maybe its the short hair but she looks younger than she is. Katie Holmes has aged horribly in comparison imo.

Michelle does not look 23-24. She and Katie both look around the same age:

I've seen only about 30 random episodes of Dawson's Creek in my life, but I still consider it one of my all-time favourite TV shows. I especially loved Michelle's character, Jen. And Grams and Jack! I need to get the whole series on DVD and watch it all from the beginning.
