Being a massive Kate Bush stan, I really can't see the comparison in State of Dreaming at all. The ending with the bells chiming is literally all I get from it.
Also, I find myself continually coming back to Valley Of The Dolls, definitely one of the more interesting songs on the album.

But I'm okay with the one we have now because it kind of keeps up with a story. A teenager maturing into a superficial housewife/pop star who is unloved and ****ty, eventually growing depressed and killing herself.

Oh lawd just read a Greek review about Electra Heart. LOL The guy was obviously expecting a TFJ vol 2 cause he was wondering what happened to indie Marina(she was never really indie, just more alternative) and that the album is full of meaningless fluff sounds. Again the concept of the album is missed since he believes it's about the corruption of celebrities and music industry.
what is it with these reviewers and not reading into the actualy concept, it's really annoying me, all they have to do is take like what 10/15 minutes if that to research what the concept is generally about, it's not a hard thing to do -.-

They go to wikipedia and find that early statement of Marina that EH is the antithesis of what she stands for and choose to stick with that.
