Katy Perry to perform at 2012 MuchMusic Video Awards
TORONTO – Chart topper Katy Perry is to perform in Toronto – again - at the 2012 MuchMusic Video Awards.
Perry in 2010 famously arrived on the MMVA red carpet in an ice cream truck, to promote her Candyfornia concert tour.
Her upcoming June 17 performance in Toronto follows Perry releasing her latest album, 'Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection,' on March 26, and comes ahead of the 3D feature film Katy Perry: Part Of Me, debuting on July 5.
The 2012 MMVA Awards will air on the MuchMusic channel in Canada and on the Fuse cable channel stateside.
The MMVA organizers will make additional talent lineup announcements in the coming weeks.
Does she have a new single, or she's going with POM?
NO word on the next single yet.
But considering that this is happening in June and barely a month before the release of her 3D movie, I think she's gonna be performing a new single. Either DU or WA.
It can't be Part of Me, surely...? That's like 4 months after it was released, and it's already dying. Imagine what it'll be like in a month and a half...
if it is Part of Me I'm through with Katy until she releases a ****ty Dressin' Up video or starts promoting her lead single.
I actually like thsi award!!!! They always bring 2-4 big artist per year!!!!
Even when lasr year Britney & Avril won but they give the awards to Bieber & Gaga
