We have received mix signals. I believe you are talking about the MTV article that said Wide Awake was "planned" for the movie. Also, after POM's music video premier I remember somewhere Katy said "I already have an idea for Wide Awake".

Plus, Dressin' Up got a lyrical video, and after that a music producer or someone from Capital or something tweeted "Dressin Up next single?" Katy retweeted it.
