This week Maroon 5's Payphone (feat. Wiz Khalifa) is bound to beat the record for highest-charting non-korean song in the korean charts. The current highest-charting song is Ke$ha's TiK ToK, which peaked at #12. "Payphone" debuted at #4 in the biggest music download site of the country, Melon, responsible for over 40% of total sales, which gives them already a shot for the weekly top 10.

The 2nd record is for Moves Like Jagger (feat. Christina Aguilera), which is set to enter the list of the 10 best-selling songs ever in Korea. The hit debuted and peaked at #21, reaching #14 in the digital charts with 256.848 sold in its first week. It has sold a total of 3,447,388 downloads as of last week.
