We all knew this tour was going to outgross Gaga's. It doesn't matter who grosses more or sells more tickets, they're both doing very well.
How high does everyone think the MDNA Tour will go? I'll personally estimate $450 million or so, maybe higher with the extra dates being added if there's a lot of demand for tickets.
Although... let's assume that the $250,000,000 gross and 1.4 million tickets numbers are accurate - that gives us about $179 USD per ticket on average. If we then assume that this will have about the same average audience as the Sticky & Sweet tour, it can be concluded that with the expected 90 show total we'll have a total audience of 3.7 million. That would give her a gross of over $650 million if the numbers we have so far are accurate. Should we trust these numbers, or is that too high of an estimate? I think we can expect the $179 ticket average to be about right, seeing as the regular tickets are priced at $90, $170, and $355 and there are probably less $355 tickets than the other prices.
