MDNA is a try-hard mess. The non-Orbit songs are overproduced, the single choices sucked, there's nothing memorable outside of the Superbowl performance (which GMAYL was essentially an advertisement for) and it was so transparent through the Nicki and LMFAO collaborations that the Like A Prayer/Vogue/Ray of Light Madonna has disappeared. It's also worth noting that the majority of her press relied heavily on Gaga.

Your opinion is fine that I agree, but Vogue is just another carefree dance song. It's better than MDNA but it's not "deep" by any means and is closer to MDNA than the other two.
Second of all, no, it really didn't. She mentioned Gaga's name twice, when
asked, and only said something less than favorable once. In fact, she even avoided the question several times (the Venice FF interview).
Imo, MDNA is in my bottom 2 Madonna albums simply because it seems rushed and carefree. I get her whole "surfy, sunny" sound she was aiming for with Martin Solveig (GMAYL, Superstar, BDay Song), but they just seemed lazy and underwhelming.
