No, it was not a mistake. Poor scheduling is what worked against it. The album was rush-released. If it was pushed back to early 2012 and had much more sufficient single choices following WFL, it could of been bigger.
But seriously it sounded rushed. It also sounded like she recorded some of the songs on a tour bus and not an actual studio (which is understandable since she was on tour. I thought it was great at first but it got old real fast tbh
WFL and WHYB are two of best songs so no. But she should have released it in January or something. I bought the album in January and We Found Love is STILL in my Top 10 and Where Have You Been is regaining itself back into the Top 20.
Oh and considering ATRL is full of drama queens, ONLY 2 million seems ****ing low to them because they always like being high and shallow.
