Not true. Gotye still would have Idol, The Voice, and SNL. Three major promo spots for STIUK. It would have gone #1 WITHOUT Glee as Glee's ratings have been declining . The song was already blowing up before it went ot #1; Glee just decided to hop on the bandwagon
