I didn't know that her record label bought it but still the point I am making is that, it's good she is praising him, his song is good and it deserved to be a hit. He is a talented producer.

I don't think that person really meant that he was the reason it was so big but that without him the song wouldn't have existed.

She owes him her career at the moment, so this was a good move on her part.

EDIT: I don't what to discuss this anymore to be honest. There is nothing to talk about, I agree that without Rihanna's contribution to the song, it probably wouldn't be such a big hit. But Calvin made WFL, one of her biggest hits. There is nothing else to discuss.

I'm not saying it was successful just because of Calvin, but in your post that I I replied to, it said that Radio didn't play the song because Calvin was featured on it. I pointed out that some (in the UK) did in fact play it because it was Calvin.
