Actually, I mentioned in my post that Viva La Vida was a ripoff of many other songs before. I'm not implying that Coldplay somehow has that chord progression copyrighted. No one does.

But I AM saying that they're the same. You can write out the chord progression if you want... whether you "hear it" or not is something totally different. Most people won't spot it without someone telling them about it, because they're not attune to chord progressions. I'll also say Luke disguised Primadonna quite well, it took me a good 30 minutes to realize where it's from.
