I don't really think a video matters. The Beliebers are going to come out in droves to support their boy with or without a video--and they couldn't even get him to the top spot. I don't think he's competition either.

And wow he went from producing her two first singles from her 2 albums TO NOTHING Well, he produced a lot of MLR I guess they wanted something new and fresh. I'm not mad at that tbh.

Hmmmmmm, I don't know, we'll see what is the public reaction to Call My Name. Plus I think Bieber is more of an album artist than a single artist... so yes, I think he's competition because Cheryl has been out for too long and he has got bigger.

I don't think you can compare both situations since everything is different now.
Justin Bieber released a new album last year and performed on X Factor and the album only charted at 13, that is not good. He is popular but he is not that popular in the UK compared to the USA and the rest of the world.
