These are these females most successful albums worldwide (Loose is definitely bigger than Whoa! Nelly) and as much as I loathe Avril, I can't deny her a placing on this list. Celine fans may argue that Let's Talk About Love was a bigger album, but I still think Falling Into You was more successful, especially when it won the Grammy for Album Of The Year back then!

Obviously these are the 6 most well known Canadian pop females in the US of this generation. From their most successful albums, which is your favorite?

HATE AVRIL.

The top 3 are amazing... and Come On Over & Falling Into You are great pop albums, but not greater than those three for me.

Celine is my fave along with Alanis but there's a hell of alot of talent on that list.

I didn't know Twain and Furtado were Canadian.

Out of the list Lavigne and Morisette have my votes. Out of these 2, JLP to me had more hits than the rest of the albums listed.

Celine of course. I don't remember what albums she beat but I remember that it was pretty shocking that she won. Anyway, she had a few signature songs come from this album. All By Myself, Because You Loved Me, and It's All Coming Back To Me Now. She wins. & it's the only one out of those that I own.

Nelly Furtado (Rhytm, Best return, 2 Singles in the top 10 in the World Chart)
Shania Twain (Popular, winner of grammy)
Avril Lavigne (High Sales, Nominates of Grammy, Popularity and Style)

I had to think about this for a minute. I'm mad that I actually voted for Nelly Furtado, but here's my actual list...

Alanis Morissette > Nelly Furtado > Avril Lavigne > Sarah McLachlan > Shania Twain > Celine Dion

And they are all certainly most talented in their own right.

There is a lot of notoriety on that list, but I would definately say Shania Twain and Celine Dion as far as in the past, but currently Avril Lavigne and Nelly Furtado now. The other two both have names that are hard to spell and produce really boring music.
