mtv is ****ed up. they should have stood up for her. they named her their icon and then ****ed her over. just wait until she comes out with something so huge in the future...theyll be crying to have her back. she can easily gain her spot back on mtv if she had a duet with mariah, britney, or any big artist. It will be too much hype for MTV just to ignore it. if i was her though I would tell them to kiss my ass and not go back.

Mtv is wrong and they know they're wrong and I have strong feeling that Mtv planned the stupid idea all along. It doesn't.make any sense to me once so ever . Janet has been in the business 20 years now and never once had she pulled a " stunt" untill the superbowl. I believe that mtv was just comming off the success of the madonna and britney kiss . And they wanted to produce a another talked about momment . So they told her and Justin to do something to get people talking . But what anobody was planning on was the whole thing to backfire . And losing they're contract ( so I really don't feel sorry for mtv for losing that contract) and if mtv didn't plan it they sure knew it was going to happen, I don't know if any of you remeber this but on their website promoting the show , they promised after the show you want be talking show and what do you know people weren't talking about the game and immedietly they took it down and started to play dumb like they didn't know .

Poor Janet, MTV is one of the best stations to get your new music promoted to the masses and it will probably put a damper on her sales. I feel sorry for her, i still think the Superbowl thing was an accident

The Superbowl reps apologized on Janet and MTV's behalf. They also said that MTV will not be allowed to host a halftime show again. Ever
Believe it or not MTV is very low on the TV Rating list so losing a deal like this was a major hit for them. I don't see them smiling in Janet's direction anytime soon.

Umm...Everyone is forgetting that JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE ripped of her breast plate and exposed her delicious nipple. And how much fcuking promotions has he gotten with MTV? There is some real double standards working in that respect.

The bottom line is that MTV is not promoting Janet whatsoever. It is interesting to consider that they tout Justin Timberlake and he was a part of MTV not getting a Superbowl spot. I have had my own theories of why they are banning Janet:

(1) We live in the United States....get the point?
(2) It is "popular" to diss a Jackson nowadays.
(3) Janet did exactly what MTV wanted, but they don't want to deal with the consequences.

Personally, I do feel Janet was wrong for even thinking of that garbage for a Superbowl Halftime and including Justin. But, artists make mistakes. She apologized and will talk about it on Oprah on Monday. So, please...MTV really needs to stop their hypocrisy!

Another conclusion is that MTV is trying to get back in good graces with the FCC for a chance at the superbowl so they took assertive action by filtering out Janet. Whatever the reason it's clear that FCC put pressure on> Superbowl, banned> MTV, banned> Janet.

I hope that oprah interview leaks on youtube cuz i would like to see that! She has got to talk about MTV.
