Is there any difference with the new 30 GB iPod? I got mine for Christmas and it doesn't looks much different. Can last generation play movies and games?

Nope, not really. I'm sure the new iPods will be coming out in a few months just as they did it last year. First we got new Nanos, and then we the new iPods in November or December.
Personally, I think this was a huge mistake on Apple's part. The iPod is a music player, not a video game player. I don't need to be watching a 2 hour movie on a 4-inch screen, expecially when you have to buy the movies from iTunes and you can't upload your movies (well technically you could but you need to download something and it's not 100% legal). No one needs an MP3 player that's as small as a pack of listerine strips, and if I had a Nano I'd worry about it snapping in half. And now the 8 GB Nano is the same price as the 30 GB iPod. Who would spend $250 on that?
Although I do like the new colors of the Nano, but I dont think the new Nano will have the same success as the mini did.
