Have you guys heard this. He's grown up to a more mature age. He's not singing about her beautiful soul anymore, let alone getting your shine on. He's singing about a girl who goes to a party and drinks like 4 beers. Then Jesse tells her not to do it (drive) but she does it anyways. She goes like 85 in a 35 curve bend, and she then goes off a cliff.
Man when I heard this song for the first time I thought nothing of it since I don't really pay attention to the lyrics, but the 2nd time I happened to pay attention and I paused it and thought for a moment. Jesse is growing up. He's singing about mature stuff now, and if he wrote this song, I have a lot more respect for him. If he makes a video like this, it should be something like the Simple Plan "Untitled" If people heard this song and nothing else, they would like Jesse has an artist. He's really grown up.
And people yet on here say this album is blah. Get taste, he's not singing about a beautiful soul anymore. What do you want him to sing about? He sings more mature songs and his music is not pop anymore. I give this album an 9/10 only because it has to grow on me still. It's not the same anymore. So unique. In about two weeks or so when I've heard this cd 100 times I will give it a 10/10, I can see that coming.
Anyways, we have a lot of these threads, so try to keep it focused on this song, so we don't have to keep talking about Jesse.
I doubt this will be a single, but if it did, he would need a really good director and the video has to have meaning such has the Untitled video. This video good do very well if it had the right pieces and such. This would be a great Untitled part 2 video from my perspective and should do good.
