It's amazing how people who stan for artists with no talent and rely on computer technology to give them a career want to call out other aritsts for actually putting work and time into their music instead of rushing out Dr. Luke track for the sake of trying to stay in the spotlight. Nelly is ARTIST. And she's taken her time to master her practice. Some of you need to stop criticizing her for her hiatus.

I won't promise a Promiscuous 2.0, although Nelly said the album was a combination of all her past works in some way, you should know each of her albums are really different from each other. She usually never repeats something she's done for whatever reason.

I'm sure you'll like some of the dance tracks on the album though if that's what your looking for.

She still released a new single each year. We got Broken Strings in 08, Morning After Dark and Jump in 09, Night Is Young in 10. Guess nothing in 2011 though, when she was actually working hard on the album.

She isn't an artist to capitalize and promote the **** outta ****.

STOP IT. She is a talented, and WRITES her own music. So shhh. She had an album out in 2009 too just because it wasn't marketed towards YOUR language doesn't mean it doesn't count. This song is different, fresh and was written by Nelly herself. She deserves respect. Now hush the hell up or get outta this thread and stop that nonsense of asking for more generic songs. We do not NEED more generic **** playing on the radios. It is a breath of fresh air hearing this song coming from a talented artist.

I think Darkchild is trying to emulate Timbaland's "Loose-esque" production in the song. The fact that she didn't turn around and make a straight out overly commercial dance-pop track is brave though. This is one of those songs that sounds fresh right now, despite that it would of sounded right in place with the rest of "Loose" if it was released back then.

Agree with this. I was scared we were gonna get "Night Is Young 2", but I'm really happy with this. And it sounds more Danja than Timbo to me, just saying.
