I had a great type up, but I backspaced and it was gone.
Anyway, I think Seattle looked terrible out there; they had to win on field goals, against the LIONS. Jake Plummer will be pulled in 3 games if he keeps playing like that. (Love me some Jay Culter, of course.) Carolina looked like a joke (even though without Steve Smith). Baltimore looked good, but the Bucs were disappointing.
The Chiefs will be in big trouble if they lose Trent Green for some time. He left the game with a concussion today. They need to play a LOT better, because if Denver doesn't do well, KC could easily slide into first place in the AFC West.
I think this loss against Jacksonville will be what Dallas' season will look like. Sure, Owens will have a great year, but they will fall short, I think. Bledsoe threw too many picks, will be sacked too many times. And they still have the kicker problem.
I'll tell you my opinion on the outcome of the Giants and Colts game. I think the Giants are hurting themselves with the flags/penalties, they have the Colts defense figured out, that's not a problem.
Anyway, here's the scores and stuff. I'll post some news or whatever, if that's ok. Here's this weeks score:
WEEK ONE SCORES
Chicago 26, Green Bay 0
Dallas 17, Jacksonville 24
San Francisco 27, Arizona 34

Cincinnati 23, Kansas City 10
Denver 10 , St. Louis 18

I have no idea what was going on with the Broncos today as they were rammed. Plummer even got sacked 4 times, and he has the nickname of "Jake the Snake."

Patriots WR Deion Branch has been traded to the Seattle Seahawks for a first round pick. He signed a 39 million dollar deal with them.
Patriots ah, they're in trouble.
No word if Ben Roethlisberger will start for the Steelers Monday night against the Jags.
Bill Parcells talked and said that Drew Blesdoe is the starting quarterback for now...
Reports say that Joey Porter (WR for the Raiders) was laughing and pumping his fist while the Oakland Raiders were being slaughtered. He told ESPN that he wasn't paying attention to the game. Hm.
Rumors may have Tennesee Titans' Billy Volek to be the back-up to Philip Rivers in San Diego.
Anybody watch Mike & Mike in the Morning? (Eee ilu Greeny) He said a WR from the Lions said that "When we're at our best, no NFL defense can stop us..it was stupid how close we were to putting 40 points on the board" Taaa.

They kinda looked good against the Cardinals tho. I think Vernon Davis is really going to help Alex Smith be a better quarterback, and they also have Michael Robinson as a RB/WR/QB<3 (sup Penn State). I think the Raiders and Packers are worse off.

Broncos won, but it wasn't an easy win...to the Kansas City of all teams. But Elam did well with all 3 field goals...Unlike that one ugly Monday Night game a couple years ago. '~"
And they face off to my other favorite team, The Patriots, next weekend.

It was SO stupid how the Lions were close to 40 points. Really.
Anybody notice that the Redskins look really pathetic out there against the Cowboys. Brunell is doing wonders for my fantasy team (Throw a catch to Randle El, will ya?!)
BTW - Why are you rolling your eyes at their win to Kansas City? Huge win, of course Plummer looked bad out there and it was battle of the field goals, but a huge win for them in their own division - KC could be done without Trent Green, Oakland isn't even a true NFL football team, and how long can the Chargers go without some team testing Phillip Rivers?
