I've had sleep paralysis a few times and it's hard to describe it, this video doesn't do this topic justice.
It feels way worse than the video I know, but I had that same thing creeping on me with that same sound.
It usually starts with me being stressed or really tired. After a while, it feels like I'm slowly being covered by some dark cloud or blanket and it's usually when I try to snap out of it by moving my arms and legs real hard. If I don't feel like it, it usually ends up in that nightmarey mess. Like something squeezing my lungs and the bed sucking me in.

Mine usually start with me feeling like i'm in the middle of a hurricane (i sleep with my celling fan on) and this intense panic takes over me, i literally feel like i'm about to die and i need to run for my life but i can't because i can't move at all.
The noises vary, sometimes i hear a very loud banging on the wall, other times i hear machinery like somebody is drilling a hole 1 inch from my ear.
Then i realize what's going on and i usually chill out after this point, then i snap out of it not long after that.

Ah! Happened to me lots of times but mostly because I wanted to.
It was mostly because I have this fascination with dreams or something. And then I read about Wake Induced (Initiated) Lucid Dreaming. So I followed these steps to achieve that and the process is the same as what you experienced, dark clouds and the most horrifying auditory hallucination I heard and difficulty breathing. I thought I was gonna die..
Next thing I know there was this vivid city and I was aware that I was dreaming. And after that I keep trying to achieve lucid dreaming.

I do actually remember one time where I went into sleep paralysis and there were these huge monster claws suddenly popping out from under my bed and digging deep into my body.. and I ended up not trying to scream or move and letting it all happen.. and then all of a sudden I was at the gym with my friends and I was slaying them all with my flawless skills being flexible as f*ck, jumping and flying all over the place like a fairy. It could have been lucid dreaming, but I can't vividly remember controlling that part.
Britney Spears was there standing in my room. She seems to be smiling at something else and waving at her fans. There's nothing weird about how she looked but it crept the creep outta me. And I haven't managed to listen to her songs again yet. It's just so scary
I had a dream (about a week ago) that there was a demon/ghost living in my house and it would watch me sleep. Like, I know it was a dream and all...but it really creeped me out.
I read somewhere that sleep paralysis was basically just your mind waking up before the rest of your body. This apparently tricks your brain into thinking you are in danger, but it doesn’t understand why so that’s why you hallucinate scary images. It’s kind of like your mind trying to rationalize the whole process. Pretty interesting, though I REALLY hope it never happens to me.
The scariest dream I’ve ever had was when I was a kid. I dreamt that Marilyn Manson’s floating head was chasing me around my room.
I have them a lot.... And being powerless is the most ****ed up feeling ever. It's really creepy.
Do they stop ? The sleep paralysis ? The scary thing about it, is that the dream looks so ****ing real.
Omg yes !
It's ****ing creepy and it drives you crazy.
I always get it when I need to take this certain medicine when I'm sick.
I used to refuse to take the medicine cause I didn't want it to happen but yeah..
Not freaky but weird, I keep dreaming that I'm in the uni with ppl I haven't seen in over 5 years
When I was a child, I used to dream about huge waves (tsunamis) covering the city but I come into a building waiting for my terrible end and it never happens, the huge waves seem to be coming but they never do. I had that dream like 3-4 times around my childhood and when I was a teen.

It happens to me, not that much but still do. And those like dreams when you feel like you're falling and you jump in the bed that's creepy too.
In my dreams when I visit an amusement park, it's always the EXACT same one, I remember the layout and everything, but its not any that I've been too in real life.
Well the last truly freaky dream I've had was about this kidnapper guy. He took 3 teens (including me) and trapped us in a small room
After that, two of us escaped into the woods where like ten other teens were being held .
Another weird dream was meeting Lana Del Rey at my HS. I even got a picture with her.
My POV was from baby Blue in her carseat in the back seat of Jay-Z's car.
Jay and Bey were driving down the highway when they stopped by to pick up a hooded stranger that looked homeless. They let it in the car and began driving when I heard two loud gunshots. The stranger had a rifle and shot both Jay-Z and Bey in the backs. Blood was everywhere. And Beyonce turned around with a blank stare on her face and fell forward. The hooded figure unmasked them self as
Keri Hilson"
. Who began laughing maniacally as Blue began to cry.
