Got the iTunes version easily enough. I didn't know what to expect from this especially from the crazy title but I think I'm really gonna get into it. From the stuttering in the second chorus it gets really epic to the end.
Not really here for the strange annoying verses though.

MULTI-PLATINUM SINGER AND SONGWRITER NELLY FURTADO ANNOUNCES TITLE AND RELEASE DATE OF FIFTH ALBUM
THE SPIRIT INDESTRUCTIBLE DUE ON JUNE 19TH
FIRST SINGLE, “BIG HOOPS (BIGGER THE BETTER),” AVAILABLE ON APRIL 17TH
April 16, 2012 — Santa Monica, CA — Multi-platinum global superstar Nelly Furtado has revealed the title and release date of her upcoming fifth album. The Spirit Indestructible will be released on June 19th, 2012. The album’s first single “Big Hoops (Bigger is Better),” which Furtado co-wrote with Rodney Jerkins, will be released on April 17th.
Furtado co-wrote each song on The Spirit Indestructible, which, in keeping with her musically eclectic nature, finds her working with an array of collaborators from across the musical spectrum, including hip-hop songwriter-producer Salaam Remi (Furtado’s “The Night is Young,” Nas), pop songwriter-producer Rodney Jerkins (Michael Jackson, Beyonce and Lady Gaga), veteran metal producer Bob Rock (Metallica), Dutch DJ and EDM producer Tiesto, rock songwriter and producer John Shanks, and Jamaican reggae producer Da Genius. A deluxe version of the album will feature several bonus tracks, including Furtado’s collaborations with Fraser T. Smith (Adele), producer and Passion Pit lead singer Mike Angelakos, and a track featuring the Kenyan Boys Choir that Furtado produced herself.
“I began writing these songs around the time I released my Spanish album Mi Plan,” Furtado says. “I was in a great headspace, feeling refreshed and ready to really deliver in English again. This album is all about positivity, youth, good energy, and the relentlessness of the spirit. I want people to live this music the way we did when we wrote it.?I want them to jump, dance, scream, laugh, cry, love, and vibe to it, and to turn it up very loud everywhere.”
The Spirit Indestructible is Furtado’s first English-language studio album since 2006’s double-platinum Loose, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 chart, was certified multi-platinum in 32 countries, and sold 10 million copies worldwide. Loose also spawned three hit singles, including the No. 1’s “Promiscuous” and “Say It Right,” both of which earned Furtado Grammy Award nominations.
The Canadian-born singer, songwriter, actress, and philanthropist, who is of Portuguese descent, has enjoyed a vibrant and successful career as a multi-language superstar. By embracing different cultures and genres, she has helped define musical diversity for a new generation ever since unleashing her debut, 2000’s double-platinum Whoa, Nelly!, which spawned “I’m Like A Bird,” followed by 2003’s gold Folklore, whose “Forca” became the official anthem of the 2004 European Cup Football Championship.
In 2009, she released her first Spanish-language album, the Latin Grammy Award-winning Mi Plan, which reached No. 1 on the U.S. Latin Billboard chart and swept Canada’s Juno awards with five wins including Album of the Year.
In total, Furtado has sold more than 16 million albums and 18 million singles worldwide. She has racked up many international honors, including a Grammy Award, a BRIT Award, a Latin Grammy Award, World Music Award and 10 Juno awards.

Looking super forward to the Tiesto and Salaam tracks
This album is looking like her most diverse to date. Pop, Urban, Dance, Reggae, Rock, Adult Contemporary, Indie. Can you get anymore diverse? Not to mention she co-wrote each one.
One of the most talented artists in the game right now.

I don't hate it, but I don't have a strong desire to listen to it again. it's kind of just...there.

Most excited for Fraser (Brit's "Trouble For Me" ) and John. Passion Pit intrigues me too! Tiesto's past work didn't impress me so I'll wait.

Actually the verses are an ode to her youth and the songs she grew up listening to. She references like 10 songs from the 1990's, along with groups from that era. "What's the Scenario" "Passin me By" "No Diggity" "High Five (this a group in the 90's) "talk about sex" "express myself", these are all songs.. "Poison" "Can't Stand the Rain" "Wanna be Down" "Back and Forth", "Rump Shaker" "Another Bad Creation (group in the 90's), "End of the Road". I'm sure I've missed a few, but I picked up on them right away when I listened to her verses. I think it's awesome she showed her appreciation for those songs and groups. I think this song will be a banger in clubs! Cheers!

Suddenly the whole song makes sense to me.

Take the lead Nelly! Let the others follow you. You're not afraid for people might say, you just follow your heart. No one can do it like you.
That's why your fans love you. No one can care making music more than you, taking 3 years for making a masterpiece album prove it. I'm sure there's a lot of great songs to come. I just wanna have the album right now. Always bringing music with quality not caring about topping the charts. True artist. Who else?

YES!!!
I'm going to use Nelly profusely this era. I'm loving this single.
This may struggle on pop, but I don't care and obviously she doesn't either. The reason I love Nelly is because she can make record like this, turn around make a Spanish song, hit you with a folk song, then in return make a song like 'All Good Things Come to An End'.
