He bailed on Britney Spears‘ world tour, but Latino superstar Enrique Iglesias won’t do the same on Jennifer Lopez!
The 36-year-old “I Like It” pop star will co-headline J.Lo’s 60-plus world first tour, which as Celebuzz exclusively revealed, will kick off in South America in June.

You’ll remember: In March 2011, Iglesias was announced as the support act for Spears’ much-hyped return to the stage but he later withdrew within hours of the announcement.
The singer apologized for the “confusion” amid reports that his ego was the real reason behind his decision to drop out; the Lothario couldn’t handle being the support act and had originally agreed to join Spears on the understanding they had equal billing, it was reported at the time.
But now he will join J.Lo who “is very excited about him joining the tour,” a source close to the American Idol judge told Celebuzz.
The pair recorded a duet — “Mouth 2 Mouth” — last year, as part of his new “Euphoria” set.
As Celebuzz revealed on April 12, 42-year-old Lopez is preparing to announce her first-ever world tour, perhaps as soon as this week.
“J.Lo and her team have blocked out more than a month of their schedules, beginning May 4, to start intense rehearsals, each day, at a sound stage in the Los Angeles area,” a source told Celebuzz.
“This will be a huge tour, complete with a lavish set, full band and team of dancers.”
It will include legs in the United States, South America, Europe and Asia; however, many of these dates have yet to be confirmed.
The tour will start in the second week of June, in Venezuela, travel to Chile and Argentina, then head to Brazil for three concerts in Sao Paulo, Rio De Janeiro and Fortaleza, before trekking back to the United States.
The U.S. leg will begin in the middle of July; however, more production rehearsals have been scheduled before the journey around the nation, beginning July 4, the source added.
But what's so funny about it?
This is Jen's first big tour so it makes sense to bring another act with her.
Enrique's last tour was a great success so just imagine how much bigger this one can be with J.Lo.
I think it's a great and smart combination.
I'm not DG1 so I can't tell you exactly why they found it funny but, perhaps it shows that she needs another huge draw in order to sell tickets. I'm not shading or anything. I think if she would've gone on a tour during her peak she would've been a big draw on her own but, she never got the chance.
I do think they will have a successful tour. No doubt.
Jen would easily sell out all arenas in Europe for example I just hope she will do longer show than usual, I mean more than 1 hour and I have to buy tickets before Enrique fans loool
This suits him much better than touring with Britney.
I was thinking the same thing. This is perfect actually. They are both very sexy and if ever join each other on stage during the tour, will definitely get the crowd excited
I will probably end up going to this concert. For free of course
