Christina's personal manager Irving Azoff recently became CEO for Clear Channel, while also being CEO of Live Nation Entertainment. He was named the most powerful person in music by Billboard in 2012...
Sooooooo, I think Christina has a team around her that is STACKED, also she has "The Voice" ... If her and her label play their cards right, I could see Xtina getting huuuuuuuge success from this era.
Christina won't reach her debut level success in the USA ever again. Not many artists reach that level. 9 million+ albums, 3 #1 singles + another Top 3, + tons of press/media/praise for her voice. Um yeah, she'll never even come close to that. And this applies worldwide using Stripped as her peak. She ain't ever selling 2 million copies of an album in the UK alone.
You can't really compare a full on pop singer to an r&b one. r&b never has that kinda reach. Also, the whole Urban/international/US only singles thing Bey does kills her sales. Britney has peaked. Xtina could still be good but needs that promo, there was hype for Bionic, but I never saw her face.
probably yes. and Beyonce and Britney still having success so much later is a testament to their longevity If either has another HUGE peak though, the other girls better watch out.
Christina peaked long ago and probably won't see solo success again in being a recording artist. Britney and Beyonce have peaked as well, but have some chance of having another huge era. Beyonce's chance is higher.
