'Stan' alone lyrically blows anything Kanye has done out of the water. Not to mention the fact Kanye almost always uses a co-writer for his songs.

Late Registration is a masterpiece. Every note, every track, every concept is perfectly orchestrated.

Just like Rolling Stone said in their review: "After the triumph of Late Registration, he can talk all he wants."

Kanye is very clever lyrically. You'll never see a "that's why they call it window pain" on any of his records.

And Stan is one of Em's shining moment's, I agree. I was simply disputing the notion (a false notion that is irritatingly popular among many Eminem fans) that Emimen is the only rapper who raps about "real life."

And for the record, I would take both All Falls Down and Jesus Walks over Stan quite easily.

He's my favorite rapper. He and Jay-Z are like almost the only rappers I can listen to. Eminem is really nothing to me, I can't listen to his songs because he's always screaming and talking about **** he's been through and I'm not here for that depressive ****.

He's one of the best.

Anyone can pick up a pen, write something down, and call them self a Rapper (Kesha, LMFAO, etc). A hip hop artist is clever and can freestyle straight of the top of their head, and of course their are different skill levels for that just like any other talent. Kanye is a hip hop artist, but his skills as a producer have nothing to do with it. He IS a great producer and he is also a great hip-hop artist. Not the best, but one of the best. There's Jay-Z, Drake, Lil' Wayne, T.I., Eminem, and a few more who are juggernaut MCs as well.
