Shall I drag up receipts? Rihanna and Britney both have writing credits and the songs are some of the most personal songs on their albums. You can take many seats.

But what is excitement? Annoyingly hyping up your next album for the sake of media attention? Doing crazy **** for the sole purpose of shock value? Yeah, I'd rater vomit. It's all so fake.

Rihanna does, indeed, write some of her songs.
Britney, though, on Femme Fatale, wrote NOTHING except for 1 song that's a bonus track on a deluxe version.

Yep, Wenatchee tonight and Pullman tomorrow.... and then DONE! I wonder if she's going overseas right away? Or maybe shoot the Dark Side video? She already started recording for Duets. Girl is busy these days.
Also, saw on mjsbigblog.com that the Glee episode featuring "Cry" will air May 1, the episode is called Choke.

But I think a lot of that was to do with her struggle with Clive, her relationships not working out, dealing with sudden fame etc. Kelly's older and more mature now. Plus, during Breakaway she was EVERYWHERE, I mean, how many tours did that era have?! Promo was absolutely crazy. I'm sure there's a healthy middle where she's not stressing herself out too much but she's staying a little bit more in the public eye. That's what I want. I don't see how walking the carpet is really stressful, Kelly always seems happy when she's being interviewed, but I guess appearances can be deceiving.

No that's not what I meant AT ALL. I hate over-hyping things. But it'd be nice seeing Kelly at the Grammy's every year even if she's not nominated, wearing a pretty dress and walking the carpet. Maybe doing a random interview not just when she's promoting music she has out. Maybe a couple of TV adds here and there? I just hate how she disappears in between eras, save for the occasional, misleading tweet here and there. Fair enough that she wants her own private life, but it's especially difficult with Kelly because sometimes we never know when music will be out again and are left in the dark for up to a year, sometimes more.
I don't want shock value, but maybe more of a presence. I like Kelly the way she is: genuine. I don't think she could pull off all those ridiculous gimmicks anyway.
Edit, of course the late music is usually management pushing her album back, but I hope that's changed now that things have shaken up at RCA. I hope we won't have to wait another two years for an album unless Kelly wants to wait that long and we know what's going on.

I think I'm feeling you. I refuse to post a pic, but are you referring to that THING she was wearing... and the weird hair... and makeup...?
But Kelly is looking gorgeous these days. Style is back on point and body is getting better, we know she's working out.
Imagine if she had that breakaway blond hair with that dress... would've been PERFECT!
Grow those bangs out Kelly... and never go back to them.

Yes.... The most embarrassing moment for a KC stan to be honest. Yea she is indeed looking a lot better but I think that ama redcarpet was the last one Kelly attended. Or was it vh1 divas ? Not sure.

Hahaha it wasn't really embarassing more cringeworthy  . I don't care what others think of Kelly (although I am thrilled when she does well, and want her to continue to win), I just looked at her and LOL-ed. I mean, what kinda fashion/hair?! Our fave can be so clueless sometimes! 
Still think she's gorgeous though and I hope that her not walking the carpet isn't to do with such insecurities about her appearance. Even though she puts on a brave face, I still think what people say hurt Kelly, and sometimes it can't be ignored  , hence her having the recurring "Wall of Doubt/Hate" theme this era.
