This can never end. Both are great, and have brought a lot to pop music. The thing is that both have to fight their own demons and are their worst ennemies:
1. Madonna wants to ignore the fact that she's getting old and has served us with awful (to say the least) immature singles (Celebration, Revolver, GMAYL and GGW), when she still can make beautiful melodies when she talks about her experience (Love Spent, Falling Free,...)
2. Lady GaGa wants to prove her artistery on every level that involves her art, when she clearly is no good director or artistic creator and fails to convey the beautiful meaning of her songs on screan (The Edge of Glory , Marry the Night,...) and it's a shame.
Too bad, cause they'd be rulling the pop scene on every possible dimension without any doubt! They have the talent! Riri, Katy, Minaj and co would only have the very thin remainings...
Madonna has better/more expensive production and sets but as a standalone performer she's not as good as Gaga. Gaga is a better singer/dancer and connects more with the audience. And she's much more versatile.

I think you should have posted performances from both of them where they are a similar age.
I also think that you should try to maintain a level of objectivity when creating polls. Leading choices such as "Madonna (Queen)" and "Lady Gaga (Wanna be a Queen)" do not help. This lack of objectivity is probably why your topic has already been reported.

One thing you cannot criticize GaGa for : she's humble. Never heard her say she wants to be a queen or to be on Madonna's level. Her words on a French TV show :"When I have 12 albums out there, then you might start comparing me to Madonna".

I don't really care. I'm saying that you should try to be less biased when creating a poll. It's extremely clear that you are trying to persuade others to choose Madonna, because you praise her in your thread title while insulting Lady Gaga.
