Or I should be...hahaha. I went to the Gas Station last night to get gas because I was out of gas and got $20 bucks worth. Then I opened up my wallet to get a 20 out and guess what!!!! I had 9 bucks. Hahhaa. . I tried giving my credit card to them but that was declined (Imagine that, I've never used it before). So in the end he took my driver's license, and my car liscense plate. He'll call the cops on me if I don't bring 20 bucks by this morning which I'm doing in about 15 minutes. Ooohhh....I felt so bad. I'm bad. And I just got paid today. So I asked my mother for money and she gave me 15 bucks. I've never done something like this before. Lol has anyone done this before and like had no money. Next time I should check my wallet before getting gas.

It looks as if the gas station attendent sent you on a guilt trip. You should be fine, these kinds of situations happen to responsible and/or good people. - (I had a similar ordeal at Wal-Mart and recently at a Post Office.) At least you didn't just drive off without paying; that could get your license taken away here in Colorado.

I always make sure I have enough cash on me so stuff like this doesn't happen to me

My situations:
Wal-Mart = I was working with bills that day and just forgot to put my credit card and debit card back. I was just buying a CD, a shirt, 2 gift cards, and a couple cards. They just set my stuff behind the service counter, and I came in a half hour later with my currency.
Post Office = Coincidently their credit card machines were down/offline. I was just $2 short, so I left my wallet with the post office lady, while going out to my car and scrounging up the amount up with the change I had.

But yeah, I now keep about $20 extra in my car most of the time for cases such as this.

Lol, I went to the gas station today at 9ish and there was a cop car sitting in the lot, hahahahaha. When I handed the $20 to the register lady, she left the store and went outside to the cop and said something to him. He said something like "Good." Lmao, all over $20 bucks. I'm not a theif, and I was going to pay them back. I don't know why they had to call the cops. Can't they just take my word for it.

The last time that happened to me was at the Post Office. I was sure I had enough money before I went and it was strange because the money I had was based on some change the accountant gave to me and we both 'saw' the right amount she gave but then when I got there it turned out I was 6p short! Lol it was strange and because I didn't have my cards on me that day (when I usually do) but thankfully they knew me there and I paid it back the next time I went.

I'm glad they let you do that too - I'm not sure if I would have given them my licence though since that would be asking you to drive without one which is also not a good idea but I can see why they needed something as it wasn't loose change that you didn't have. Ah well, live and learn .
