Just because someone looks flawless in a professional photoshoot doesn't mean they actually look like that. They may have some of the assets, but their face is different if you seem them in real life. Some people get brianwashed by all of that. They think they need to emulate their looks when it's just all photoshop.
Same goes for celebrities. We rarely see them without makeup or just looking avarage because they are always in front of the camara. At the end of day, they are just regular looking people like the rest of us. They just have money to make them look good.

No, I've known it ever since I wanted to get involved with making movies, and that was years ago.
I just don't like how it makes it seem as if everything is fake. I have a cousin who insists that every celebrity is fake and sometimes it gets really annoying. Not all celebrities opt for retouching. Sometimes it's done without them knowing. They're not all hoping on tables to be cut up either.
There are everyday people who look better than lots of celebrities, but we're not as quick to point fingers at them and question whether they've been nipped & tucked. I know celebrities are under the spotlight, which is why it's easier to nitpick them, but still... It just makes me wonder.
