The show premieres tonight on ABC, does anyone plan on watching it?
Plot
The series follows June, as she moves to New York City to pursue her dream job, until she finds out that it no longer exists and she ends up moving in with a con-artist, party-girl named Chloe. The two at first don't get along, however, when Chloe's attempts at scamming June backfire, they end up forming an unlikely friendship.
Cast
Kristen Ritter as Chloe, a con artist who becomes June's roommate. At first trying to scam June like she does all her other "roomies" by charging her extra rent, Chloe comes to like June and welcomes her. Dreama Walker as June Colbern, who moves to New York when her dream job at a mortgage company provides her with a huge apartment. However, on her very first day, the company is shut down when the owner is arrested for ripping off millions of dollars and the apartment building is taken away, forcing June to find a new place to live. Liza Lapira as Robin, a neighbor obsessed with Chloe. Michael Blaiklock as Eli, the somewhat perverted next-door neighbor who spies on the girls. Eric Andre as Mark Reynolds, who would have been June's supervisor at the mortgage company but now works at a coffee shop. James Van Der Beek as a fictionalized version of himself, the former star of Dawson's Creek, who is a good friend of Chloe.
Promos
The reviews I have seen so far have been pretty mixed but I hope the show does it when it premieres after Modern Family.
I wish the lead character seemed more......bitchy/direct instead of a weird type bitchy....but I'll still check it out. I've been checking for this show since it was listed as a pilot.
I'm excited for this show! The first few episodes are on ABC.com already
I don't know if I want to wait OR just watch them now, I heard the second episode was hilarious and a big upgrade over the Pilot.

I am just glad the producers of the show are not making her into a "nice" girl down the road, Kristen said in an interview that she didn't want Chloe to be a bitch in the beginning and then get soft.
The premiere of ABC’s new comedy Don’t Trust the B—- in Apt. 23 started solid, if unspectacular, in the ratings Wednesday night.
The critically well-liked comedy delivered 7 million viewers and a 2.9 rating in the adult demo. That’s down 29 percent from its Modern Family (10.3 million, 4.1) lead-in, yet up 16 percent from the average of Happy Endings in the slot. ABC points out this is the highest retention of a Modern Family audience in a year in this slot.
One can’t help but wonder if this show might have received more premiere sampling if it had launched earlier in the season before months of 2 Broke Girls and New Girl explored somewhat similar concepts (though tonally each show is quite different). Basically: This a workable launch rating, but one wishes it were higher. Lead-ins The Middle (2.1) and Suburgatory (2.1) were steady, though Modern Family was down 9 percent.
Fox’s American Idol (4.9) led the pack, rising slightly. CBS’ Survivor (2.6) fell to a low, followed by Criminal Minds (3.0) and CSI (2.3). ABC was third. NBC’s Off Their Rockers (1.6) and Best Friends Forever (0.9) block dipped from last week, followed by Rock Center (0.6) and Law & Order: SVU (1.6).
