Except you couldn't argue that a LMFAO song has a more haunting/brooding/melancholy side to it, because it's clearly not there. It's a house rave-up.
WAY, on the other hand, has the opening tempo change, minor chords all over the place, a lot of self-doubting lyrics, particularly in the second verse, and a rather "sluggish" tempo for what's lyrically a "party" song.
Just because you're too busy trying to look smart to ACTUALLY analyze the song doesn't mean it's not there.
