They're massive promo plans always end up in underperformance...look at Madonna and GaGa...

I won't believe this until I see a better conformation or a press release.

Whether or not this is true, I have begun to lose faith in the way Interscope manages their artists. It seems as though they did very well with BEP and GaGa but have been unable to replicate that success with other artists.

Well fortunately Roc Nation are here for that. They've already started by uploading all of Shaki's back catalogue officially to VEVO, and removing restrictions.

The problem with Lady Gaga and Madonna's albums were they lost steam pretty quickly (or almost instantly with MDNA). Shakira isn't producing an album of steam, it'll be mainstream/global dance-tune after mainstream/global dance-tune. No OTT ballads and stupid theatrical performances, and hopefully no laborious "messages" either, as Shakira isn't one to put her foot in her mouth.

I reckon the mix of Interscope and Roc Nation/Live Nation will be perfect for Shakira.
