Do Ya Thang has the easy summer bop feel that everyone loves. It'll not flop. It's one of the catchiest songs on the album.
In what way is the controversy of BC bad? It went Top 40 based on radio alone. The **** isn't even on sale and it's doing better than a large portion of her singles. Birthday Cake would be Top 10, guaranteed, and very likely #1 is actually released.
Roc Me Out is NOT anyway similar to Rude Boy. It is Rockstar 101 all over again. The **** is atrocious, single wise. I really question the hearing ability of anyone saying this mess should be a single.

I've been shading the video since its release.  It's not mind blowing, sent from the heavens, or whatever else the Navy hype it up to be. It's Rihanna on drugs sucking another guy's face. I know that **** turns you on, TheOnlyOne, but really, it's nothing spectacular. And how people call it her best video is beyond me. Russian Roulette, Te Amo, and Rockstar 101 would struggle to make her top 10 videos.
We Found Love is easily top 5.
You must not understand it. Everything about it is great, the editing, the scenes, the story. And what about that amazing monologue? That is what a troubled yet addicting relationship looks like.

BC did not hurt her image. Radio is eating it up and the american public are begging for it. What other minute long snippet have you seen go Top 100 on itunes? All the dramatic Navy overreacted when it came out. Her brand is the same it was before. She was a messy bitch then and she's still a messy bitch now.

The video single-handily propelled the video to #1. The was visually captivating and intensified the song so much. The imagery of the video perfectly captured the essence of the song. I don't really know what shallow-minded concept you were expecting, but the chorus is "We found love in a hopeless place."
I'll agree that RR and Disturbia are amazing (amongst her top 3, along with WFL), but Hard, MD, TA, and R101? Gurl bye.
