Not one of them even attempts to raise a valid point by saying what it actually is in her lyrics they find trite or why they don't consider her talented. And of course there are so many of these people who think like this that they can all band together and collectively assume they're right and don't have to prove anything or provide any examples or really think about why they hold that opinion. It's just a shame, because their ignorance and perhaps lack of intelligence means they're really missing out. I'd be interested in reading a well thought out piece as to why Taylor Swift isn't good (if only to be able to through that perhaps explore further why what works for me musically may not work for someone else, and through that I might be able to, ironically enough, get even more enjoyment out of her music than I already do), but nobody seems bothered enough to actually make one.
