People these days don't have the time to raise their own kids because they have to go to work, so what do they do? Buy their kids all the latest things, like an iPhone, satellite tv, laptop, whatever, to keep their kids occupied. They don't watch what their kids are listening to or watching, and so ultimately it is their fault; they are failing as parents to protect their kids from being influenced by the wrong things. But somehow these parents are blaming everyone but themselves.
I mean really, you could compare this to kids drinking alcohol someone left in the fridge and the parents blaming the alcohol company for making it.
