Rokker25 - I'm not sure if hers and Xtina's voices would go together, Christina has a very thick voice. I also heard Christina's version of 'I have nothing' and it was terrible... but you never know, singing together would need having to work with and around each others voices and they could probably find a good balance.

Ah well, that might explain it then and yep it was definitely I Have Nothing. Strange though, her voice sounded the same as it does now, not terrible (because it wasn't terrible in itself, just not suited for the track and came out terrible) and it was live. I haven't really looked at how female voices change from puberty, they get more range etc and can change (tone, strength, projection etc) through direction or habits like smoking but I mean naturally, very interesting. I've generally only really noticed natural change when a person gets thinner or bigger, I haven't really looked at age (other then older age). I wonder if I sounded the same at that age... But anyways yeah it was 'I Have Nothing'.

Anywho, I'm just glad that Whitney is working with Clive again. There's been a lot of Whitney bashing in this thread and understandably so - girl hasn't been without her issues in the past few years. But Clive said that he wouldn't work with Whitney again unless she cleaned up her act. Now hopefully that she's done that, she's been able to work on her voice some and it's not totally annhilated. We won't really know anything for sure probably until next year.

Im not agree with you. Mariah is FARRRRRRRR from being a average singer, thats why she is the most important and most influential vocalist in the last 16 years, i cant think about one of the new artists that havent mention her as a big inspiration christina, beyonce,kelly,jessica all of they have named mariah as her inspiration.

I dont think a average singer can be called a VOCALIST like whitney and mariah thats why they are STILL the voices, and thats why they are to me the most important vocalists EVER.

I think that Freddie Mercury is the most influential though because he influenced artists from the rock, pop, and hip hop industry. Mariah and Whitney only influenced R&B and pop. Which isn't bad it's just not as influential. I prefer Mariah's voice over Whitney's but I think that Whitney has a more powerful voice while Mariah has more range.

Get your ass over to MD and download the tour audio. See if she & Whitney sound the same. Trust me dude, she may not sound as good as she did during the "Emotions" era but she can still do it Butterfly/Daydream style lol.

Umm, I dled some of the songs but I couldn't tell if she lipped or sang. Her Pepsi Smash performances were 1000000x betta then last year's performances but she still just don't have it. She's a great studio artist tho <333333333
