Obviously Janet has sold more. But idk, I think Bey has more worldwide appeal. I think she's more known around the world than Janet was at this point in her career also. I'm not that familiar with Janet's success though.

Not really, Her first 2 albums wouldn't have flopped horribly like they did if that were the case. No one really cared for the last name. La toya Rebbie were evident of that

that doesn't really answer the question. It wasn't who had it harder to become a star. It is who is bigger worldwide. Based on their respective primes, I will have to go with Janet. She really was out of this world even if she wasn't my fav. "If">>>>>>>
